WITH THE OPENING OF THE HARPETH ART CENTER AND GALLERY, CAT WILL ONCE AGAIN BE TEACHING CLASSES. SHE BEGAN TEACHING CLASSES IN 1985 AND HAS TAUGHT THOUSANDS OF STUDENTS OVER HER CAREER IN THE STAINED GLASS, FUSING AND SLUMPING, MOSAIC STEPPING STONES, ADVANCED STAINED GLASS PROJECT, REPAIR, ETC.


REGISTRATION IS HANDLED THROUGH THE HARPETH ART CENTER AND GALLERY.
PLEASE CALL 615-646-6644 TO REGISTER. PAYMENT OF CLASS FEE HOLDS YOUR SPOT.  IN THE CASE THAT THE CLASS FILLS YOU WILL BE WAIT LISTED IN CASE OF A CANCELLATION OR ANOTHER CLASS OPENS UP. NO CLASS REFUNDS AFTER THE FIRST CLASS.

BEGINNING CLASS
6 weeks, 3 hours each class $150.00 (Includes tool use and all materials). Payment is due when you register. Call 646-6644 or drop by the center to sign up. Morning and evening classes available. All work will be done at the studio. The copperfoil technique will be taught. All projects completed are your to take home. Class size is limited and will fill on a first-come first serve basis. IT IS IMPORTANT TO BE IN ALL CLASSES SINCE YOU LEARN A NEW STEP EACH WEEK!!! Class make up times are limited and may be handle as a private lesson.

Next class start Monday March 1st from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. or Thursday March 4th from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

GLASS FUSING AND SLUMPING WORKSHOP
This class is to learn the art of melting (slumping) glass on or in molds and mixing glass together with the use of a glass kiln. The class is part lecture on terms, techniques, and demonstration of kiln firing. Hours of the workshop 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Two personal kiln firings (one slumping and one fusing) are included in the price and will be scheduled between the student and Cat.

Cost is $75.00

PRIVATE LESSONS ARE AVAILABLE AT $25.00 PER HOUR. SEMI- PRIVATE LESSONS ARE $15.00 PER HOUR. ALL FEES ARE DUE THE DAY OF LESSON.


OPEN STUDIO TIME

OPEN STUDIO TIME IS AVAILABLE AT THE RATE OF $5.00 PER HOUR AND CAN BE SCHEDULED WHEN CAT IS GOING TO BE IN THE STUDIO. USE OF CLASS TOOLS AND GRINDERS ARE INCLUDED IN THE FEE. NO INSTRUCTION IS INCLUDED. ALL FEES ARE DUE THE DAY OF SERVICE.
